Is "silly bid" the same as "stink bid"?
I like the term "stink bid" better...
A "silly" bid is when you buy the Dow when it's 200 points lower.
A "stink" bid is when you buy the Dow when it's 300 points lower. Five minutes after being filled on each, the Dow is 400 points lower.
low...low-ball Buffett bids.
Is that like the time Buffy saw a woman get hit by a car?... and as she lay broken and bleeding in the street, he approached her. When she cried out for help he said, "the best I can do for you madam is to lift your purse"
