I thought the Germans were suppose to be more sophisticated than dumb Americans with their big gas guzzling SUVs.
"The numbers your using are crap, everybody in the field at a mechanical contractor lumped in together, it's like putting the receptionist in with the accountants cause they both work in a firms office. " Actually this is not even a fair. Not only is the labor lumped in with it, so is much government facilities maint. and some building engineer types, the guys we get payed the big bucks to go behind cleaning up the mess (my old boss gave all these guys free screwdrivers). I'll compare it to the receptionist being in with the accountant as well as anyone attending college in the past 5 years with a intention to become an accountant but hasn't yet. "I know many HVAC service techs making over 100k, you just have to be talented and work some overtime." I'll add to this there may very well be a few who make this with no overtime. Not to mention I'd much rather be paid hourly then be a salaried accountant in Feb.
