ARKK up 2.6% and QQQ down 1.5%. What a dichotomy. Looks like the Wood crowd still believes that deflation is right around the corner. If it doesn't happen ARKK goes down another 50% probably. Interestingly the BOJ has the same strategy -- just ignore inflation and hope it goes away.
ARKK Overshoots then Undershoots, Cathy must be thinking we've hit bottom. I suppose placing a bet now is low risk, being close to support level, if it goes below just bail out fast, if it goes up, there's lots of upside.
I've traded SARK long a few times (small positions) for some profits. It's short ARKK so no surprise. Don't know if I'll keep trading it much, ARKK may eventually run up for awhile (up almost 7% today)? Who knows...
Yah, Cathy has a barking Ark, a vessel of a bygone era, this time she's missed the boat, Metals and Energy is where the action is atm. Never mind, it won't be forever, I'm reasonably sure technology stocks have not been buried under mud forever, should ressurect at some stage, be born again.
Imagine if there was a +3X ARKK it would be up like 40% today. Lots of short covering but this rally could have legs.
