Arizona shooter had ties to far right white nationalist group

  1. While American Renaissance is critical of government affirmative action programs and unrestricted immigration, there is no evidence of anti-Semitism, and there is no evidence that American Renaissance by any objective standard is a racist organization. It does deal with racial issues. But so does the Congressional Black Caucus.

Jared Taylor countered: “AR is not anti-government, anti-Semitic, or anti-ZOG, as is clear from the 20 years of back issues that are posted on our website. The expression ‘ZOG’ has never appeared in the pages of AR, and we have always welcomed Jewish participation in our work. Many of the speakers at American Renaissance conferences have been Jewish.”

At least they can take comfort in knowing that, logically, you will not call them mentally ill.

wow richter you are a died in the wool liberal. I respect your consistency.

I for one do not care about the motivation, I care about the result.

But, I do have a question for you... a mentally ill man is attacking you and your family and your lives are imminently threatened.... what do you do? Do you kill him, do you take the beating?

Seriously I want to know where your liberalism ends.... because it must end some where -- we are really all just drawing lines...
I suspect I just draw it sooner than you.

  7. If American Renaissance is "anti-semetic" [sic], then why do they sponsor so many Jewish scholars at their conferences? Scholars such as Lawrence Auster, Michael Levin, Eugene Valberg, Michael Hart, Paul Gottfried, and Robert Weissberg. At their 1994 conference one of the speakers was Rabbi Mayer Schiller. Ask Rabbi Schiller whether he thinks that AmRen is anti-Semitic.

It looks like fox is now distancing itself from the story.

This clearly shows that the current administration is targeting AmRen, and they have shown their hand. It's just shocking how ineptly it was done.

Just because I accept that there is such a thing as mental illness, which the poster I replied to seems to think there is no such thing, does not mean that I cannot prioritize; of course first I defend myself and family.

I hope you mean "dyed in the wool..." : )

Edit: btw, there is no 'h' in Ricter. (Not enough 'rich' for that matter.)
