Yes! Let's all hurry and force them to meet a federally mandated black quota!! Since 3 to 5% is clearly NOT ENOUGH BLACK! We should pass a black law that every new political party has to have a certain black percentage, and then we need a new department to enforce it! This is, of course, all beside the main point that the charge of racism on the Tea Party doesn't hold water. If it was a racist organization, there would be negligible black participation. They certainly would not have numerous black participants with black speakers and leaders how they do. It's obvious that all of these racism charges are bogus, disingenuous, and politically motivated. I you don't agree with them, fine. But why do the opponents feel the need to manufacture lies about them and practice character assassination? That intimidated I guess...
How do you see that this woman is associated with the Tea Party movement? I don't see that at all. I do see that the pics of blacks I posted were from Tea Party events, I don't see that in the pic below. But whatever, even if it were true, I guess it's not like they had a KKK leader as their party leader, like the democratic party. Now THAT would signify racism LOL! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Byrd Ku Klux Klan Byrd joined the Ku Klux Klan when he was 24 in 1942. His local chapter unanimously elected him the top officer of their unit.[8] According to Byrd, a Klan official told him, "You have a talent for leadership, Bob... The country needs young men like you in the leadership of the nation." Byrd later recalled, "suddenly lights flashed in my mind! Someone important had recognized my abilities! I was only 23 or 24 years old, and the thought of a political career had never really hit me. But strike me that night, it did."[8] Byrd held the titles Kleagle (recruiter) and Exalted Cyclops.[8] In 1944, Byrd wrote to segregationist Mississippi Senator Theodore Bilbo:[10] â I shall never fight in the armed forces with a Negro by my side... Rather I should die a thousand times, and see Old Glory trampled in the dirt never to rise again, than to see this beloved land of ours become degraded by race mongrels, a throwback to the blackest specimen from the wilds. â â Robert C. Byrd, in a letter to Sen. Theodore Bilbo (D-MS), 1944, [8][11] When running for the United States House of Representatives in 1952, he announced "After about a year, I became disinterested, quit paying my dues, and dropped my membership in the organization. During the nine years that have followed, I have never been interested in the Klan." He said he had joined the Klan because he felt it offered excitement and was anti-communist.[8] However, in 1946 or 1947 he wrote a letter to a Grand Wizard stating, "The Klan is needed today as never before and I am anxious to see its rebirth here in West Virginia and in every state in the nation."[12] In 1997, he told an interviewer he would encourage young people to become involved in politics, but to "Be sure you avoid the Ku Klux Klan. Don't get that albatross around your neck. Once you've made that mistake, you inhibit your operations in the political arena."[13] In his latest autobiography, Byrd explained that he was a member because he "was sorely afflicted with tunnel visionâa jejune and immature outlookâseeing only what I wanted to see because I thought the Klan could provide an outlet for my talents and ambitions."[14] Byrd also said, in 2005,
Apparently all of American politics these days are defined by racism. There is no more right or wrong. No more âfor the peopleâ, just racist and not racist. This new system is a bad joke. Just for those who donât get it, racist = bad, while not racist = good. So now both parties are trying to make the other party look racist. Is racism the only issue America is facingâ¦? Hey let me be the first to tell you that racism means absolutely nothing to me. I care more about good ideas and bad ideas than I do about someoneâs personal prejudices. Now Iâm not going to lie, if some official was âracistâ against my race Iâd be angry, no doubt about it but I think that politics really needs to move beyond this issue. Just for the record has anyone else noticed that the US has more than two races? Itâs all about blacks and whites which is complete BS.
Wtf. What right what act what thought gives a fricken crazy ass democrat a right to claim a moral high ground on any issue. What do you ass clowns stand for. You were tolerable perhaps preferable when you stood for the constitution against the government. But now you stand for the government over the constitution. Get a fricken brain and grow up. Democrats stand for nothing but votes and power. How dare you say todays republicans would never have abolished slavery. First of all you can't have it both ways -- are republicans filled with Christians or not. Who do you think was behind the norths effort to destroy slavery. I am quite sure the Catholics would condemn slavery all the mainline protestants churches and all the evangelicals would as well. But finally where the fuck to you democrats get off every lecturing anyone about any sort of principles or values. Democrats are no longer good liberals who believe the Constitution is more important than big government. What does your fricken party stand for - what big principles... The killing of unborn children and empathy for animals who have fur. Get lost.. you have no right to claim any moral highground. You all would compromise our freedom for in second for one more free government handout.
