RM, I can relate. The 'buddy/friend' part, AND the flashy car part. I just cut ties to a person who wanted money for an investment - a person who referred to me as 'family' and who drove a BMW 7 series. His property is now being foreclosed on, and there are several people looking for him, who I assumed gave him money to invest.
