The case in Latin America has nothing to do with communism, it's the 100% opposite. Do you know for example why Argentina defaulted on its debt? It's not because they made horrible spending mistakes, it's because PRIVATE debt was converted to public debt. It was pure theft by the corporate elite. Read the story of Argentina's then public airline, turned private for "efficiencies" (bullshit). The company got passed around like an old whore before being bought again by the argentinean government except now it's in terrible shape.
