I have realized my mistakes and come to realize with the help of Jesus, that Coolweb is the answer to all my questions and hopes in regards to the market. I have decided that if you can't beat them you have to join them. As such starting in 2006 I will be emulating coolweb.

This is what ozzy will sound like in the near future.

Wholy shit I just realized after 11 months of trading that I am sooo fucking good. Fuck statistics or professional traders who think they know what they are doing. I am going to sit and think for 15 mintues on the shitter and come up with money ideas. Now that's money! :D :D

Damn, I can't believe how good am. I am sooo money for a skinny white bastard. Money I tell ya. I am money!

Did I mention that I was money?

You haters can't touch me cuz im the playas playa and I like myself much.

Anybody who is delving into the very important concept of the OPEN and the price action right after the opening bell should take a look at "Day Trading With Short Term Price Patterns and Opening Range Breakout" by Toby Crabel." It is one of my 10 Recommended Trading Books. Of course, it's better if you can get it cheaper somehow in whatever versions.

Toby Crabel did a very good job at categorizing the urgency of the different moves off the open. His Opening Range Breakout method has been adopted/adapted by many traders or authors including "The Logical Trader", by Mark Fisher calling it the "ACD Method", by Larry Williams in "Long Term Secrets to Short Term Trading", calling it Volatility Breakout and by Jake Bernstein in "The Compleat Day Trader II", using the name 30-Minute Breakout. They have different names and slight variations but are essentially the same concept.

  6. Oh YEAH BABY!!!!

    You are the s**t, ozzy!

lol...It's almost worth taking coolie-bonk off ignore just to see what new bs he's posting in here. I wonder - I have asked him a total of maybe 10 times about whether he paid down that credit card advance he took out to start his trading account, the trading account that, 2 weeks later, he suddenly claimed was worth $340,000. Did good ol' coolio ever explain that?

Did he ever tell us what happened with the GREAT COOLWEB TRADING CHALLENGE? You all know, that's the one where he said he would trade a 10K account up to 13K in one week by trading 10 contracts of the ES at a pop with his entry as his stop?

Did Coolie-bonk ever tell us what happened when he got all those takers? Did he win? Steve Tvardek took the challenge- what happened, Steve?

Coolio said he was trading short only from now on - is he going long?

what is coolweb saying to all his fans who are wondering about these things??

Oh yeah, I forgot - is he still claiming that he leased a CBOT seat or some s**t like that? Or has he dropped that claim? I remember he said he had but then he f**ked up the math involved in what it cost, or something... hard to keep track of all this coolie-crap.

    Coolie-crap!!

    coolweb. you are so owned.

  7. Ha, that challenge never happened. And I am pretty sure that anyone who read it probably knew it was never gonna happen either. But to his credit, he did admit to me though that, right now, I'd beat him BUT soon enough he'd be making 10k a day. LOL. That makes sense right, go from making zero money, to just profitable to 10k a day in less than 1 year risking only 1 or 2 pennies on 10k share positions but still catching "points". I mean, forget about liquidity getting out when you are wrong. Even if he is short and there are no offers to cover on for 5-10 cents, Coolio will get out for only a penny loss on a "mysterious" 10k offer. Thats how he rolls :D

  8. Well, if you look out far enough, just a lot of noise......

While I agree with you that this is a productive way to look at price movement there are also a couple of important points that you left out .
Markets can exhibit particular types of behaviour ... but they rarely persist indefinitely. These points of your advice are sound: carefully observe the issues / markets you trade and yes, some basic mathematical techniques can help.

  9. The charts I share in this room are NOT the charts I trade off but one could use keltners, Bolinger bands or price structure itself when in convergence mode.
