With tax time coming around, I'm looking for help doing taxes and deciding if I should file as a trader. Anyone who files as a trader, please describe your situation and also who does your taxes (how'd you find them)? I'm mainly trading options 3-6 months out, sometimes holding 1-2 months, other times closing out hours/days later. Run up a hundred transactions one month, but sometimes don't trade for a couple of months.
