Are you a successful at home day trader with no other source of income who began with modest means?

  1. Jealousy, why ? I don't know what you have. So how can I be jealous of something I know nothing about ? Strange you stopped talking about the bots. Does that mean you can make money despite the bots now ?

  2. Re-read my post. I never said I stopped making money dipshit.

Are you functionally retarded? Serious question...

Also- have you ever made money from trading? Your posts reveal major flaws in behavior and psychology of successful traders so I would say probably not.

  3. You stopped making money from news due to bots: let me quote "News trading, which was a goldmine for a number of years, is all but over thanks to news reading bots". So the question is where did you get the info on bots, someone told you or you learnt it yourself ?

What you say make no difference to my results. Since you know the psychology of successful traders, what are they then ? Which bit of my psychology is flawed ?

Opportunities change. 15 years ago has near zero relevance. Damn right technology killed edges, just like in every field of business. Opportunities emerge and then die. Continuity is for employees being told what to do, trading is for opportunists.

  6. 1) "all but over" does not equal extinct. I still make money on certain news events, but for many years there were multiple opportunities DAILY to crush individual stocks and economic numbers. That edge has been drastically negated thanks to news algos and lack of liquidity.

    2) you are a petty jealous individual who would rather argue than try to learn from others experience.
I would say there is a near zero chance you've ever made a dollar in this business.

  9. No doubt opportunities change. But the markets remain the same. They were driven by supply and demand in the past, they are driven by supply and demand in the present, they will be driven by supply and demand in the future. This is the unchanging truth. People fail because they don't understand this very basic and simple truth.

I hope you disagree with me because I can then back you into a corner and ask you to explain what drive the markets.

You can always get help from clubber, the bots being a driver for markets could have some merit if he is able to come up with some convincing evidence. I personally see no isseues with bots making markets as I deal with them every day.

  10. Fear and greed.

Supply and demand is something you read in a textbook in high school (recently I'm guessing). LOL
