OoOo, black, female and conservative. I think they'd skip the bad press and go right to the burning alive on a stake.

  2. Lay off the haterade, dude.

I'm not the one who thrusted myself into the limelight and then whined about getting ambushed by the intellectual heavyweight that is Katie Couric, when made to look like an absolute moron (and the questions were easy ones, such as "what do you read?").

Even fellow (and more substantive) conservatives bemoan Palin, with good reason. Ask Peggy Noonan or George Will.

Speaking of whining, take three massive doses per day:

This is as good a time as any to review some of the more interesting statements made by the lady herself who may potentially be a candidate in 2012. Incidentally, anybody that is willing to brave the limelight of politics is fair game.

"As Putin rears his head and comes into the air space of the United States of America, where– where do they go? It's Alaska. It's just right over the border." - Sarah Palin, explaining why Alaska's proximity to Russia gives her foreign policy experience, interview with CBS's Katie Couric, Sept. 24, 2008

"We believe that the best of America is not all in Washington, D.C. ... "Well, let's see. There's of course in the great history of America there have been rulings that there's never going to be absolute consensus by every American, and there are those issues, again, like Roe v. Wade, where I believe are best held on a state level and addressed there. So, you know, going through the history of America, there would be others but ¯" - Sarah Palin, unable to name a Supreme Court decision she disagreed with other than Roe vs. Wade, interview with Katie Couric, CBS News, Oct. 1, 2008

  9. I was one of the people here who called that unacceptable from the very start. Do a search. I'm opinionated, but I don't lie. You'll find me criticizing Letterman's jokes as soon as they were made, as well as Bill Maher's. I never made any exceptions for attacks on Palin's family members or even her ex son in law.

I am not a fan of Palin because she lacks any intellectual gravitas whatsoever, which I still believe is an important quality for the POTUS, and many conservatives agree with me.

I do not condone or engage, and never have, attacks on Palin's family. I find it all in very poor taste, and in fact, it discourages a lot of qualified people from running for office, and that's a damn shame.

I believe family is out of boundaries, period, whatever the party, ideology, etc. of the candidate.

    Period.
