If you look at the front cover of the book by Tony Oz: How to Take Money from Wall Street, Published October 2001 he uses six LCD monitors for trading. Anyone here has broken this record ?
You can do it with a quad card, a dual head + a single or 3 singles to make an "extended desktop". Just make sure your cards and drivers will support it before you add the hardware. (I use 4 single, low-end cards + a TV tuner for Hee-Haw, golf, or other sports)
Here's a picture of his trading station. I was going to build something like this, until I realized that it's not really necessary for me at this point of time. http://www.stockjunkie.com/tradesta.htm
1 monitor is sufficient for my purposes - scalping ES using X_TRADER based on price action only. My setup : http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/attachment.php?s=&postid=79095
Well this puts new meaning into mobile trading. Who needs a web-enabled phone, or Palm, or any of that burdensome equipment when you have that handy little setup going? Did you get that on eBay?
