I have traded correlated stocks, that is about the closest I have come to pairs. However I don't swing trade, so I won't be holding over night! I stick with intra-day trades for stocks, I seek out momentum going long & short and capitalize. My 6 yrs of trading experience is in retail with one International prop, in which I did fairly well until they closed. I'm willing to learn different strategies and will use them as needed. However with Margin, I intra-day trade only.
Bright Trading doesn't allow more than 5 to 1 intraday naked per your equity. They just don't. And if somebody there says they do, they lie. You're not trading momentum stocks directionally there with more than 5 to 1 leverage. You can get more hedged but you better be hedged.
I explained my trading strategy and I was not told otherwise. If their money is not at risk why would they reduce you margin?
It depends on what State you're in. Some states require the Series 7, but most will accept the 56. You can check out our website to see which states. Just read some notes from above. Who of you out there would risk their own money to back someone's wild attempt at a naked long or short "airport trade?" Hey, I want to get 30 to one leverage betting on black this time, ok by you, LOL. Only serious traders guys. And, yes, Maverick is a good guy too. Don
If you explained your trading strategy to Rob or myself, then I assume you're serious and have come up with something of value. Good for you. As I said, above, serious guys.....and ladies, can get some serious for good strategies. But note, of course our money is at risk. We have lost $,millions to a couple of people. If we allow your strategy, and you lose more than your account, we eat the difference. Just the nature of the game. All the best, and speaking of gambling, I bet on the Darn Broncos, geez, what an idiot.. should have paired it off, LOL. Don
When I get 50K I will definitely consider doing business. Im committed to trading just have to build up my capital.
