  2. ... ;) You don't grow an account that fast by trading plain Jane vanilla stocks. -- You have to trade the more risky/volatile stuff.
and let it compound and compound.

  4. I made a lot playing both sides of oil (long and short). Built up the risk over time. More profits mean bigger account and larger positions.... sure there are risks but this is the risk management business!

  6. Yeah good movie and an interesting story of ego / fighting a losing position.

He just didn't know how to give up a losing position. His ego couldn't accept it.

Fortunately if I lose my $money it's only my $money I'm losing.... and by my $money I mean the $money the market has already given me.... : )

  7. Surprise

    Surprise

Unrealistic , not with futures trading anyway . Is there a documented proof that someone turned 5K to millions trading futures in just 2 years ? Doubt it big time , it is all either BS stories or dot com bubble/options trading .

You are just very wrong here. I know multiple traders who have taken under 10k to over 7 figures. One guy starts with 1k a week and makes 5 figures a week consistently trading weekly options. I myself i consider still learning, but have made a decent income from day trading options. For my young age, my trading income is incredibly significant and i have been trading less than a year. I blew up my first account, then was mentored slightly by a professional and never looked back. If you don't believe me, then cool. Does not bother me at all

Dude... people do that in a month. You need to be VERY good to do it, but I've personally witnessed it.
