Are stocks easier than futures/forex?

  1. Forex is traded over the counter, not on an exchange. Therefore you must do your due diligence when selecting a broker, or you risk being front-run and ripped off on the spreads.

in the P/L threads, all of the consistent profitable traders did stocks.

but then I guess the pull to FX is very great...like a moth to a flame.

FX/futures is strictly a zero-sum. You have to outsmart other players. In stocks you can get lucky because of high earnings or other good news or you can get screwed badly by unfavorable news and a 20% drop in a day is possible but in futures you rarely see that and in FX once in 20 years like when Soros made a fortune. Your choice.
