I recall reading how French people eating snails could explain their arrogant behavior (parasite as well).

 

It seems to have hit French waiters the hardest.

well, they don't eat them raw though. Snails are deliciously prepared. If you were to try them not knowing what it is, you'd eat a lot of them)))

 

California gardens are full of them, Bone appetite!

 

Not a fan, too chewy. Oddly enough the octopus next to it which is known for being chewy was much tastier.

It's France...you're allowed to be arrogant. Alot of things to brag for, or be proud of.

If it was Guatemala, that's another story. Alot of South and Central American countries are rather in a perpetual depressing state.
