https://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow...taries-havent-backed-2024-election-rcna165185 It's like 50-50 right now. He was so new to Washington it's clear Trump didn't know what the hell he was doing. He had to rely on what he refers to as "the swamp" to bring in guys that probably weren't high on his personal list of choices. He brought in a lot of ass kissers who were Reaganites that thought they could change him or he was just a showman and would be more serious once in office. Obviously they were all wrong. Remember that Trump didn't start with a whole lot of allies in politics. He had to transform the party. He made Sessions his first AG, because he was the first Senator to endorse him. When Sessions didn't do what Trump wanted by recusing himself he quickly turned on him. He brought in Carson to run HUD, something he knew nothing about, because he was an early supporter after dropping out. Carson never did anything Trump disagreed with so he's still in his favor. Trump now has a lot more connections and the ass kissing has increased exponentially within the party, but he still has to get his guys through the Senate which isn't entirely united behind him. At best Trump will have a slim majority in the Senate. Even when Romney leaves, Collins, Murkowski, and Cassidy voted to impeach him. Plus other long time senators like McConnell have never been fans of his. He won't be able to push through whoever he wants for everything, but it will be more in his favor than it was previously. The younger and newer members of the Senate seem to be more likely to go along with whatever he does.
OMG.. After a couple of weeks talking to Trump supporters I've gone stupid! I'm getting different answers again. Different routes to calculating are giving different results. Wolfram research might help me.
Didn't. Ok, I need to get there.. 81 = 9x9 which is a 100. That just leaves 21 to deal with. That's 2x9s and 3 left over. So that's 100 +20 +3. 81+18+3 = 123?
You have to be careful what you can double. You can double 20 to 40, because when you double its digits they stay under 9. However, 5x2=11, 6*2=13. You basically have to relearn your times tables you probably started learning in like 3rd grade when you switch bases. 1,2,3,4,5,6 6x1 7,8,10,11,12,13 6x2 14,15,16,17,18,20 6x3 21,22,23,24,25,26 6x4 27,28,30,31,32,33 6x5 34,35,36,37,28,40 6x6 41,42,43,44,45,46 6x7 17 is the 16th number and 6 is less than 9 so 116 should be the 96th number (using base 10) in a base 9 scenerio.
I got you, whew. 17b9 by 6b9 is 116b9 17 by 6 =102 = 123b9 Its been a while since I helped with homework So two answers depending on interpretation. But your is the better one I think.
I have as M.S. in Math, but haven't studied base changes a whole lot. However, I think there's only one correct interpretation to this (because you're either doing multiplication in a different base or you're not) and you have to start with the most basic level of mathematics which is counting. There is a list of numbers. From there you use the definitions of addition and multiplication. You should get 16 rows of 6 numbers or 6 rows of 16 numbers depending on how you look at the multiplication. That's how you count and multiply within base 9. If you want to convert 102 to base 9 you would count to the 102nd number in base 9 in which case, yeah, you get 123. There are 19 numbers with 9's skipped to add and then 2 more once you add into base 9 and 0 more after that so it's solved at 123.
ipatent, there can only be one person that was born and raised in the United States of America, and claiming to have graduated from Wharton, that does not know how to pronounce "Yosemite". We all know who that person is.
I've just tried putting it through both Chat GPT and Gemini out of sheer curiosity and getting numbers all over the place depending on how they 1. Interpret the prompt, 2. Revise this after ask for a double check and in the case of Gemini, revise it a third time. Maybe AI isn't replacing mathematicians this year.
I meant 19 and 2, 19 for 102 (9-99, 10 single digit, 10 double digit, subtract 1 for 99 being double counted), and then add 2 for 103-121 (109&119), bringing to 123, but point is the same lol.
