    Quote from IronFist:

How are you using $TICK? I tested it extensively and found no useful price relation.

    Quote from horton:

When the Dow TICKS print -25 and the NYSE TICKS don't go down much and the ADD barely notices, this is informative.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------

For example observe that the Dow TICK printed +25 one minute AFTER better than expected housing data and the NYSE TICK only printed +400 in response as the SPX printed 1650. This was informative.

I am short the TF with BE stance now on that rather than the ES but at this point I will probably get stopped out unless AAPL really falls out of bed because the $SOX is on fire.

If the $SOX calms down then I expect SPX 1645 before 1000 CT.

Same thing again at third attempt for SPX 1650. I was stopped out, reversed for Failed Offer, scratched, reversed for Held Offer (edit) again and now I am at BE on TF again for SPX 1645.

Unfortunately I will not get SPX 1645 if I can't get $SOX 466 Failed Bid.

And at this point SPX 1650 Touched strongly implies SPX 1655.
