I am wondering if anyone would happen to know why arcade firms seem to be popular overseas, while here in the US, there seems to be a plethora of prop firms, but no arcades? (at least none that I know of). Thanks!
same thing pretty much? arcades tend to trade futures more than stocks. arcades offer backing to new kids, with experienced traders bringing their own finance - but the end game is the same mostly, ie making money on commission and round turns, charging for desk space, x trader, cqg etc
I would say Arcades are more for the retail traders whereas Props more for the professional traders. Most Props require their traders to have a trading license, ie. series 7...
