Probably a long shot, but -- Anyone out there in Manhattan with a subnet that has arcabook multicast with space to resell? Good feed costs are too expensive for me, but I figure there's someone out there with extra space on a subnet who'd be wiling to take money in exchange for a network drop to minimize their own expenses. I'm not too concerned about latency just yet -- I just want to test some market microstructure models. If I pipe out 8-12GB of data from where I work, I'd surely get fired -- but the $750/month is too steep for me to foot alone. Perhaps there's a few of us who'd be willing to share some feed/network space? I expect insults from this forum, but will be pleasantly surprised if anyone nearby is also trying to analyze data without getting wacked by costs.
