Could ARCA be any more pathetic today?

First (and this is a first for me) my ARCA trailing stop hit and I get a message: "Clerk Rejected - Target System Unavailable."

    What the hell?

Good thing I was sitting there so I could get out myself. That trailing stop was a breakeven stop after partial profits were taken. If I had been away from the computer, the position would have gone against me QUITE A FEW THOUSAND DOLLARS past my profit and breakeven.

ARCA was stuck, then down, then stuck again, then down.

What is wrong with this POS? I used to like the way it worked your order/trailed your stop, but I don't trust it enough to even use it anymore...

PS. I'm sure they would have reimbursed me for all of my losses if I had been away from my computer, right?

    Right?

    Beuhler? Beuhler? Beuhler?

This is typical for ARCA. They have very slow execution speeds and go down all the time. I am not trying to bash this ECN, I wish it worked up to par. I can only hope that they adopt the REDI technology with the merger or they are all done.

They have the slowest executions speeds for any ECN. They only beat out the specialists and thats a fact! They range in the 1200 milisecond (1.2 seconds) range on average. That's an eternity for execution speeds, especially in a fast market where you will only get a fill that is real. Come on ARCA!!!!

ARCA was terrible today as was ISI for me. I missed out on several good fills this morning because my ISI orders wouldn't route to superdot for some reason. I was also told that now with ARCAEx ARCA will not route to superdot anymore. Everything gets routed to the Pacific Stock Exchange???

    Just got this message:

"ARCA listed stops are not currently working properly, use other routes, will advise"

    I'm shocked. Just shocked.

    Pffftttt.

ARCA has gone waaaaaay downhill. I don't know what their problem is, but I don't trust them any further than I can spit these days.

Arca has been WAAYYYY downhill for a long time. They have just hid the problems in my opinion. The first thing they need to do is get rid of Townsend and have the Island people build their systems. Speed and reliability is the key to success.
