arbitrage: Al Pacino

  1. New York (HedgeCo.net) – Former ‘Godfather’ Al Pacino has been cast in the role of a big time hedge fund manager in the new financial thriller Arbitrage opposite Susan Sarandon.

    Pacino plays hedge fund magnate under investigation who is desperate to complete the sale of his trading empire to a major bank before his double-dealings are revealed. But then the unexpected happens…….

    The film is written and directed by Nicholas Jarecki, shooting is set to begin in New York next spring. Eva Green, from Casino Royale, will also be starring in the film, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The film is to be produced by Infinity Media

    Sweet! What is it with all these trading movies coming out? They probably all got green lighted in 2008 and are just getting made now.

    So Al's going to head another NY crime family in this film. They should call it GodFather IV.
