  1. The AAPL 160/180/200 June fly is cheap here. I own size at 10.70 with spot at 176.50.

True Breakout, IBD is a waste of time and money, the stock is trading under $175 and probably going alot lower.

Already down over $10 from Mondays keynote. If investors were pleased with the new Iphone AAPL would be trading well above $200.

  3. AAPL looks very bearish right now. Short-term, long-term double top or what???

  4. I thought the new iphone news was already "baked in"? Now you're saying it wasn't baked in, its just that people were disappointed with the new iphone??....hmmm. I hope you are right, I hope it does go a lot lower...just makes it easier for me to make money off of it. Just like when it went from 200 to 120, and back to 185 again. I hope it does that for the rest of my life. Anyways you dont know what you're talking about, apple's little sell of is mainly b/c of "sell the news" people...and there was a lot of that going on (same thing happened the day the first iphone came out if i remember correctly), and speculation that Jobs might be sick...he did look very thin...oh and the whole market has been selling off. I dont think investors were disappointed, at least I dont know any who were. Sure apple didnt reinvent everything with this upgrade (they did that with the first iphone), but honestly you want them to reinvent the phone every year? what the hell would that look like? a paper thin phone with 100GB in memory, each having it's own dedicated satellite, flux capacitor for intermediate length time travel, and blow job simulator? Why would you assume the stocks going lower when they're about to release the a better iphone, at half the price especially taking into account the success of the first iphone?

No they are nervous about his health status. On news programs and in print they are raising the spectre that maybe Jobs cancer is back because he looks so gaunt.

They sold 6M iPhones already, but I have seen figures bandied about that they could sell as much as 40M worldwide because so many people held out for the 3G phone.

I believe investors are nervous because of his health.

  8. It will tank hard if something is wrong with steve, but hopefully he's fine. 40M iphones? wow. i guess its not too much of a stretch seeing as the first iphone was sold in what 6 or 7 different countries? new iphone being sold in 70 different countries. Launch definitely isnt as cool or sexy as the first iphone launch, but I think it will mean a lot more to the companie's bottom line. we will soon see.

AAPL on a day like today should be up about $3-$5 bucks, the NDX would have been up 50+ points if AAPL contributed some gains today. Imagine if it was a down day.............

Back to the Iphone, found an interesting news clipping from pcworld:

Even though some Apple iPhone fanboys are waiting in line right now for the iPhone 3G, should you? According to eFluxMedia reports, only around 5500 8GB 3G iPhones and around 3500 16GB 3G iPhones will be shipped by Friday. That's around 9000 3G iPhones to be distributed nationwide. So if you do intend to get one of Friday, you may want to consider getting to your Apple store early.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So Apple is only shipping 9000 Iphones nationwide, that sounds too hard to believe, you would think they would have at least 500,000-1,000,000 units on hand before July 11th, especially with the low, low price of $199.

    Something is wrong.....
