anybody having the larger format Kindle? How do you like it? I wanna get one I also believe in readability and ease on the eyes when considering a reading device not the ability to have wireless access or colors or internet access. Cannot have all, at least not right now ;-)
SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- As Apple Inc. releases glowing reports of unit sales of its new iPad tablet, the quickly growing numbers draw even more attention to what Amazon.com Inc. has never talked about with its Kindle e-reader. http://www.marketwatch.com/story/will-apple-ipad-numbers-pressure-amazon-2010-05-03
Hey, the sack of [ ] in the red T-shirt got his pic in the newspaper. That will be the highlight of his year -- maybe of his life.
Not sure about the different size formats, but I'm not sure it matters, as the kindle (or nook) in general is fantastic if your goal is reading. As a big supporter of both e-readers and apple's ipa(o)d, I can safely say the e-ink makes for a much better reading experience, if reading is your goal. The kindle and nook have both adopted browsers, but those are pretty much novelties that don't really matter Also, the kindle ends up being the better reader, unless you're into gadgets, in which case the nook beats it. hard to explain until you've used both of them
price action says dollar will be worthless soon you can buy and hold any stock now and make 1-2% a day relating to BIDU , for example, AAPL price action just pathetic
you are on here since 2006 and have 500+ posts and still stutter pathetic utterances? a) Last time I checked the dollar was bought for several weeks/months in a row now. While other currencies are in endangerment the USD looks pretty healthy to me, relative speaking. Do I like the the amount of printed money? Heck no, but right now the USD looks very genki. b) price action of AAPL relative to BIDU is pathetic? For starters, why dont you simply draw a ratio chart and come back and repeat what you just said (AAPL/BIDU has reached the low of its range since September 2007, it touched the low it made in October 2008, far from breaking down). Secondly, whats your point to pick the strongest kid on the block and measure everything against? If you picked BIDU as your only investment and parked 100% of your cash in it since last year March then you are incredibly stupid but also incredibly lucky. By the way, I could show you stocks that have outperformed BIDU by over 1000%. Whats your point? The point is that AAPL is an incredibly strong name and remains so until a strong negative catalyst surfaces that causes a major turning point.
i used the iPad over the weekend to browse the web. maybe i'm the impatient type, but damn that thing is slow. i'd go nuts waiting for it to finish drawing a website and let me 'click' on something. it feels the same speed as a netbook for moderately complex websites like mapping.
That's odd as my iPad is amazingly fast on wifi for web browsing. My experience is consistent with all the major reviewer's too like Walt Mossberg's (wsj) You need to troubleshoot because something is probably wrong with your setup.
