Let it go??? Do you not see the power of this. This can mint the entire market....we need this. Mstr is proof of the infinite money glitch
It's not a currency for the 10,000th time! No government (except for El Salvador) has ruled it's a currency! It's just property, just like real estate is. The only difference is that it's digital property instead of physical property. Either way, property is taxed on the gain in the value from the time you owned it until the time you sold it. Currency has no such tax. Key takeaway: Bitcoin doesn't need to be a currency to have value, just like your house doesn't need to be a currency to have value: BTC has gone from zero to $90k per coin without being considered a "currency" so please dispose of the "It's gotta be a currency to have value" myth.
It failed as FX with POS. I think the misfire with POS actually added to the interest. I think that vol and street interest would have waned if it had become essentially a utility coin.
I said this once before in my journal thread, but I'll say it again here: If you think that BTC is just some magical and worthless coin, I would like to offer you the following: You can own this entire web site, EliteTrader.com, and it can be yours today for just a measly 500 Bitcoins. That's it. You can literally own a piece of internet history with posts spanning all the way back from 1999 and working through all the major booms and busts of the past three decades until now. It's an unmatched treasure of knowledge and experience that can be yours for just 500 BTC. Any takers considering that BTC is just fairy tale money printed on demand?
Fungibility isn't really a value argument tho. 10MM bushels of corn works too, just need to broker it through ADM. $45MM Bro? I hope you get it.
