  1. Apple CEO Steve Jobs was spotted outside the Stanford Cancer Center in Palo Alto yesterday. The Stanford Cancer Center is part of the Stanford University School of Medicine. It is a world-class leader in cancer treatment and treated actor Patrick Swayze prior to the actor's death in 2009.

The CEO of the computer giant announced on January 17 that the board of directors at Apple granted his request for an indefinite medical leave of absence. Jobs did not state the specific reason for his LOA, but based upon past history, the speculation was that he had some form of cancer. In the past Jobs was treated for pancreatic cancer and received a liver transplant.

Jobs has been seen about the Apple campus and is planning on being in San Francisco to meet Obama. "President Obama will dine with Steve Jobs, Google CEO Eric Schmidt, Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg, Intel CEO Paul Otellini, and Cisco CEO Paul Chambers at a private dinner in San Francisco this evening."

Sadly, Jobs great wealth has not exempted him from disease. His unfortunate plight should remind us of what Solomon said: The rich and the poor meet together; the LORD is the maker of them all.

  5. Doesn't he have the right to be in Peace while enduring such hardship ?
