AOL spent 300+ million to earn Tnote rates

    "In a surprise, Arianna Huffington will take control of all of AOL’s editorial content as president and editor in chief of a newly created Huffington Post Media Group. The Times notes she will have oversight not only of “AOL’s national, local and financial news operations, but also of the company’s other media enterprises like MapQuest and Moviefone.”

  3. Interesting note, Apparently the company had 70 paid employees and 6000 bloggers who worked for free.

    AOL is trying ever so hard to keep up with the latest internet fads, why they even try is beyond me. This company was way on top and just completely fell apart, what they are doing now to try and get ahead in this fast paced internet world will not work. They should just quit now......
