With Bernie close to the dirt bath she hopes to fill his shoes. Decades of perpetual complaining, accomplishing nothing of substance, all while feeding at the government trough. She's still young enough to go back to shaking her ass and slinging drinks. This assumes she's interested in earning an honest living.
She could start following your Elite Trader posts and that would certainly knock her IQ down a few notches.
So actually, George has a legitimate question. She, on the other hand just throws out a bunch of words like she's making a word salad. TANKS are the msg of her "argument." She is sooooooooooooooooooo dumb.
'Dishonest, callous and naive': New York Post lays into AOC following comments linking crime to poverty https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/...-poverty?utm_source=smartnews&utm_medium=feed The editorial board of the New York Post on Tuesday published a criticism of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a congresswoman from the Bronx, after she made comments linking crime to poverty in the city. "Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s reaction to the surge of violence in the city she represents is dishonest, callous and naive," the New York Post wrote in an editorial. Ocasio-Cortez, one of the more vocal members of the Democratic Party's liberal caucus, turned heads last week when she suggested a recent uptick in violent crime in the city could be the result of people struggling to make ends meet. “Do we think this has to do with the fact that there’s record unemployment in the United States right now?” she asked during a town hall meeting on Thursday. “Maybe this has to do with the fact that people aren’t paying their rent and are scared to pay their rent. And so, they go out, and they need to feed their child, and they don’t have money. So, you maybe have to — they’re put in a position where they feel like they either need to shoplift some bread or go hungry that night.” The New York Post, a more politically conservative member of New York City's media landscape and often critical of the freshman congresswoman, said that she was making excuses for people who break the law. "Shoplifting is not what is plaguing New York City right now, and she knows it. Petit larcenies are down 7.8 percent for the year so far. Murders are up 23 percent. The number of shooting victims is up 70.4 percent. These are not robberies by desperate people; they are gang-related, drug-related, gun-related," the editorial board wrote. "When a man is shot dead in a drive-by, clutching the hand of his 6-year-old daughter in a crosswalk, it is not about going hungry." New York City has experienced a bloody beginning to the summer, with 10 people killed during Independence Day weekend alone. The spike in violent crime in America comes amid a nationwide conversation about police brutality and systemic racism in law enforcement sparked by the death of George Floyd on Memorial Day. Since Floyd's death, activists, celebrities, and Democratic politicians such as Ocasio-Cortez have called for local governments to "defund the police" and reallocate resources to community-based crime prevention programs. “One question that is interesting here is that when it comes to funds, it’s not always just about the number of officers in the street," Ocasio-Cortez said in early June. "It’s about these police precincts that have tanks, that have military weaponry, and, frankly, have a degree of ... material resources and warlike weaponry ... that people ask, 'Why does a local police precinct have this in the first place?'" President Trump and members of his administration have pushed back on efforts to scale down funding for law enforcement, painting it as a fever dream of "radical" Democrats who, they say, are soft on violent crime. “You hear about certain places like Chicago, and you hear about what’s going on in Detroit and other cities, all Democrat-run,” Trump said recently. “Every one of them is Democrat-run. Twenty out of 20. The 20 worst, the 20 most dangerous are Democrat-run.” White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany singled Ocasio-Cortez out during a briefing with reporters on Monday. "You have Rep. Ocasio-Cortez saying, 'This is just because people are trying to get food for the families.' That is preposterous," McEnany said. "The reality is, 63% of Americans in this country fear that criticism of our police departments will lead to no public safety in their streets, and 69% of black Americans — this is a real issue when you call our police cancer and talk about dismantling them." The New York Post said Ocasio-Cortez's view on the relationship between funding for local police and crime trends is "backwards." "AOC imagines that we’ll magically erase crime with an army of social workers and more money for schools, even though we spend more for education and welfare than almost anywhere in the nation," the paper wrote. "She lives in a 'Les Misérable' fantasy, where a department of Inspector Javerts hound men for stealing bread. We don’t know what world this is, but it certainly isn’t New York City."
Between her and Comrade DeBlaiso it's difficult to say who has the larger kill ratio. Shockingly the city has devolved into chaos. Who coulda node? Leaders in the black community are calling on the New York Police Department to bring back the plainclothes Anti-Crime Unit that was eliminated last month as shootings and murders spike across the city. https://www.yahoo.com/news/black-leaders-call-nypd-bring-154707836.html
This NY Post's 'editorial board'? National Enquirer's editorial board writing a statement next week once they can find some black crayons?
