Honestly, Bernie Sanders branded "democratic socialism" and Democratic activists were the ones shouting "defund the police". I'm also pretty sure these polls vastly underrepresent right-wing views just like the national polls underrepresented Trump. However, there are policies clearly positively viewed by the voters. They are minimum wage increases and marijuana legalization. Not surprisingly, these policies don't involve tax increases. Voters are consistently supporting them by wide margins even in red states. I was not a person who believed that the Democrats would gain House seats. The midterms are usually a stronger rejection of the president than the presidential election. Moderate Democrats losing swing districts doesn't prove that progressives would have done better.
well, it generally runs like this: some dude shows up w/a sign of "defund the police" to a rally fox runs said sign 24/7 dems embrace label and run with it to show what rebels they are.
By the way, Porter is leading by 7 points in that district, not 20. It was a +5 Clinton district. She wasn't a Justice Democrat, but I guess she's the best they got to cling to for an example. However, she won in a midterm that would have favored a generic Democrat.
I didn't say she was "justice democrat", whatever that is. Republican Cubans will never vote for anyone left of Batista.
%% LOL Stupid socialist; why not move to a socialist nation+ quit her whines about a capitalist country...……………….??
