AOC constantly whines about ethics violations. Now she is being investigated for ethics violations.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is under investigation by the House Ethics committee: report
    https://www.rawstory.com/alexandria-ocasio-cortez-investigation/

The House Ethics Committee said it's investigating Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) in a statement this Wednesday, Forbes reports.

The panel said it will announce the results of its investigation sometime in 2023, but did not provide details as to what the investigation is about.

A spokesperson for Ocasio-Cortez said the congresswoman "has always taken ethics incredibly seriously, refusing any donations from lobbyists, corporations, or other special interests."

The nonpartisan Office of Congressional Ethics forwarded its inquiry to the House Ethics panel in June.

"Typically, when that office forwards an investigation, it is because the office has reason to believe an ethics law was broken," Forbes' report stated. "Wednesday's statement, attributed to acting Chair Susan Wild (D-Penns.) and Ranking Member Michael Guest (R-Miss.), says the disclosure of the investigation 'does not itself indicate that any violation has occurred, or reflect any judgment on behalf of the committee.'"

  2. Kind of a cheesy reporting job in that article. Does not include what the allegations are even though they are widely reported elsewhere.

She went to some even with that Tax the Rich dress on. The event had a 35,000 dollar admissions fee so somebody paid it for her or at least she got the value of it potentially making her beholden to some interest.

There are other issues too that have swirled around her relating to use of campaign funds for funding buddies to do buddy work for her. Her fiancé included. Not sure if those are in the mix.

The funny part is she whines about ethics all the time but is so dumb she gets caught up in an ethics investigation.

  4. Cheesy reporting as I said.

I scanned it and it said I could listen to the article in the video.

Put some frigging meat in an article when you write one. Try being a journalist rather than an online bloviator. Where "you" refers to the article writer.

Released in 120 theaters and only earned $9,667 in total. SAD. Probably the worse performing film of all time.

Ocasio-Cortez's climate change documentary has embarrassing opening weekend, earning only $81 per theater

A documentary on climate change starring Democratic socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York had an embarrassing opening weekend and earned only $81 per theater.

The film is named "To the End" and focuses on the efforts of Ocasio-Cortez and other far-left activists in their fight to change American society on the basis of global climate change.

Although the film was lauded by some critics and given a showing at the Sundance Film Festival, it failed miserably in bringing any interest from theatergoers its opening weekend.

According to Exhibitor Relations, the documentary only garnered $9,667 in 120 theaters, which works out to about a dismal $81 per theater. It came in at 33rd place overall for box office.

By contrast, in October, the critically acclaimed film "Decision to Leave" garnered $30.2k per theater on its opening weekend, despite only opening at three theaters.

The documentary was filmed by director Rachel Lears, who previously directed "Knock Down the House," also starring Ocasio-Cortez. "To the End" focuses on four women who are advocating for policies to fight climate change, including activist Varshini Prakash and political strategist Alexandra Rojas.

"From street protests to the halls of Congress, these bold leaders fight to shift the narrative around climate, revealing the crisis as an opportunity to build a better society. Including up-to-the-minute footage that culminates in 2022’s landmark climate bill, TO THE END lifts the veil on the battle for the future of our world, and gives audiences a front seat view of history in the making," read the description from the film's social media.

Oddly enough, the film's trailer on YouTube has nearly half a million views, while the official Instagram account for the movie has only 562 followers.
