They'll tax the rich more and transfer that wealth to the lower classes
Democrat politicians seem to thrive in the poorest urban areas such as East Chicago and Baltimore. I’m talking about multiple generations of Democratic politicians. Looking at these areas, there appears to be no evidence of an improvement of those still living in poverty. Again, generations of Democratic control equals no improvement in the lives of their constituents. Increased taxes in the United States end up in Democratic politicians pockets and the taxpayer funded businesses run by Democratic donors.

and address the huge problem of climate change
Even accepting there is meaningful climate change and that climate change is a significant problem, which many don’t, how can it be addressed? What needs to be done, why would it be expected to work, and, is the cost of proposed cure better than doing nothing at all? We have seen environmental laws and superfund cleanup sites result in a huge transer of wealth from established businesses to attorneys, real estate developers, politicians, environmental engineering and inspection companies with close political ties to Democrats, and environmemtal cleanup businesses.

    and supply medicare for all.
Obamacare is not enough? I read to 80 to 90% of ones lifetime healthcare expenses are related to the last year of their life. I would imagine if younger generations realized a large amount of their taxes and what would have been their descretionary spending were basically being “wasted”, they would not be too happy. Healthcare and tuition costs have been rising at much faster rate than the underlying rate of inflation because the third party payer system does not effectivety control prices like the free market does. The demand for free or nearly free services is nearly umlimited which in turn causes delays in treatment for those who have real medical needs. As an example, at an Arizona ER, a $5.00 fee was imposed on patients. As a result, they saw a 80% reduction in visits. In other words, most vistors to this ER felt their “emergency” did not warrent $5.00.

And hopefully do some gun control.
This issue has been beat to death. How about addressing the nations substance abuse problem that is the underlying cause of the vast majority of crime in the United States? Including gun crime? Speaking of crime, how’s it going in those long term Democratic controlled urban warzones?

And continue to support women's right to choose.
The vast majority of abortions related to someones irresponsibility or F**kup in some way. Why should the public pay for someone elses mistake? That said, I would not be opposed to a crime victim compensation fund.

    etc.
Etc? Come on, list them all. So far, what you written on the Democratic Platform has no real benefits for potential voters.

Maybe cut some of the absurd 25% of our taxes that go "defense".
I agree with you on this one. Way too much pork. We could get by with 60%, by my uninformed estimates, less spending if we decided to get efficient about it.

All the good things that the Republicants cant.
I see many Republicans as either failed businessmen or failed attorneys. They could not compete in the private sector and ended up being competitive in politics. The same goes for Democrats except I wonder if the bar even lower for Democratic politicians based on what we’ve seen so far with the new freshmen Congressmen.

I was hoping to see at least part of a viable platform that addresses real issues with outlining why a particular issue is serious enough to address, what is the most effective way to address it, and a rough cost analysis that shows the money is not better spent elsewhere.

As is usually the case, if there is a true social need for something, the private sector will usually provide it at a better price than the Government can. It is about competition and management accountability. As an example, in the private sector heads would have rolled well before a billion dollars were spend on a disfunctional website like what happened with the US Government ObamaCare website.
