Mmm, rates just climbed out of bed a bit (30 yr turned positive, real yield up almost 2% on week). This combined with seasonality is making me wonder whether a correction is imminent. But perhaps that’s all part of the trick... Realrate should be a kick back in an overall downtrend.
Not sure what you're saying here. Bond prices have topped, rates are heading higher. This is a generational top. 15 to 40 years of rising rates ahead. Rolled the shorts to ZBM and this is a long-term position. Will keep rolling shorts unless something indicates otherwise.
Just what I thought - that rates climbing were going to spark a bit of a sell off and it appears they have. I've just bought some more S&P at 3820 so let's see. Big fear move in Tesla yesterday, made for a good buy. Bonds, yup can see ZB, TLT just keeps going lower...
