IB rejected me for an account. First you have to fill out the online account forms. You can't complete the process until you fund the account. So you must fund the account to be approved. I picked a 5 digit user name and they added numbers to it. And I picked a password. I did this before I mailed them my check. But after they received my check they rejected my application and cancelled the account. So if you just want to see how IB's feed works, maybe you might be able to get the data feed for a couple weeks without funding the account. Eddie
