I have used real tick, first alert, tc200 top dog to me the new e signal looks good i may try that out but tc is a good product..
Surfer: I believe in the value of the software -- not Worden's opinions and commentary. There is a difference!
Following what signals? TC2000 does not give me signals. Do I need to get a new version, or something? If you want to scan EOD for basic (and some not so basic) technical triggers, there is nothing better than TC2000. I have 3 patterns I scan for nightly, and it takes me about 20 minutes to filter through thousands of charts and find the one's I want to investigate further. I don't know much about their marketing - I never get anything from them except update CD's and an occasional DM piece about classes.
easyguru, I wholeheartedly agree with you regarding the Worden reports being of value. Some of the reports and systems that I have read, deal with some very interesting ways to look at price action and market tendencies. If your trading style is intermediate to long term this software (TC2000) might suit you. For that category of trader it's at least worth a look. Regards Dave Scott
Thanks averyone for your input on the software. I have one more question? is TC2000 free if I just want to use EOD data? and can I still do all the searches and filters wit hthe free EOD?
I had TC2000 for about 2 years. Pros: Good for scanning stocks with Macros Cons: Incomplete data (no Futures) --Feels a bit like a VB app I switched to TS for realtime, more data (futures) and the EL customizable charts. I miss the easy scanning features but not much else. Personally I found DW comments to be too vague OR the methods too unreliable for building a strategy. When I tried to back test I found that hell known as "randomness". Cheers
Also the online chat feature and access to the user group posts. Hmm, I haven't checked my forum for a while.
