Anyone watching the psychological train wreck at BMT?

I actually paid it. I needed an example of certain source code, but could only download it if elite. It saved me few days of coding. It was worth it for me. Few drinks in a city cost just about the same.

I would not categorize anyone who pays a hundee as stupid.

I paid it to get some tick data I needed. But the data was worthless.

Recently got banned for thanking a post. Should have burned the $100 bill, it would have been more satisfying.

He is the thinnest skinned wanker board owner I have ever seen.

Dont feel so bad getting bannee there then.

Got banned of FactoryForex aswell, turned into a huge anti SL troll site, I dared disagree with this, went hard got myself banned and took the 2 main trolls with me :)

So many newbies where buying into it it and just losing it all, just nuts.

  4. I haven't been as active as some of you in BMT so I haven't experienced those issues but I thought it was worth the $100 just for the indicators created by GOMI and I have enjoyed several of the webinars - Especially FT71.

I also learned some things about coding which I have had no experience in. BMT is also where I found out about the Jigsaw DOM which I think is a great tool.

I've looked at some of the posts by Big Mike and I'm sure he's a busy guy but I thought some of his answers were short and not very encouraging to newer traders.

Overall though - I think I've got my money's worth

What does SL stand for in this context?

Edit: Stop Loss, I imagine! Can't understand anyone being firmly entrenched against that though.

Stop Loss!!! They where all into Martingaling methods and chasing everyone out that refused to give up on using a SL!

Yikes. FF is one less forum to explore, then. I lurked at BMT for a bit but the Elite paywall and heavy-handed moderation didn't sit well with me. Though on the other hand I've backed off ET as well lately, with the amount of trolling around TA, with nobody agreeing on a definition, etc. It gets tiresome. But ET still seems to be the most open forum overall though with fascinating discussions here and there. :)

I was just REALLY surprised that the troll-bait "TA is crap" thread with no content somehow got left where it was posted and even gathered what, 22 pages of posts? on this tired old topic again? although the participants were fresh names for the most part at least, those pages-long wars between DBphoenix and marketsurfer seem to be over now. :p

FF used to be good, moderator is an okay chap, main culprit was Magix who was selling martingaling EAs to the desperate, he had 100s of followers literally trolling everyone off the site, while losing there accounts, was funny in a sick kinda way lol

Sad part is, i mentored Magix to get him started, his method was pretty much an old method of mine, without the SL.

Barons cool, only seen 1 banned so far, a particulary, stupid and messed up little liar, even he had warnings.

Just put surf on ignore and the TA bickering becomes less of an issue IMO.

Surf's okay, he's just a long term trader and anti Day Trading that's all, it's good to listen to differing opinions from time to time, be crazy not to really.

TA really is BS, real TA ( 100's of lines drawn on chart type ), not everything is TA if you look at a chart moronic TA ofcourse.
