Anyone watching the debates tonight?

  1. IT it's pretty SERIOUS stuff to disagree on. Pakistan isn't some little outpost like broken down Iraq. These guys could fight us toe to toe for YEARS.

Obama tried to shore up European support behind his bomb Pakistan strategy. It fell on deaf ears. Ain't NO ONE who wants to get involved in that.

Not to mention how many crazy Pakistanis here in the U.S? A million? I'd hate have a few thousand of them on the terror warpath avenging our bombing of their homeland. This Bin Laden revenge thing is NOT in our national interests. And I repeat: None of us even know if he's still alive.

  2. For once I want to check in on a neutral blog (if such a thing exists). Anyone following a decent blog discussion right now? (Please, no extremist crap from either side)

  3. I've tried to class up the joint, but that is just ET, where childish behavior is the norm.

  4. There is a wonderful principle known as balance of power. Projection of power beyond your (natural) borders is an ever more expensive endeavour.

Russia while in many ways a backward country has a lot of nukes. It can't be treated the same as you would Kazakhstan. So Condi running around like a headless chicken say how she will "punish" russia was utterly moronic. Russia is a petro state which while in the long run is bad for the time being it means it is self sufficient. US has no business caring about Ukraine or S Ossetia it is expensive and foolish and most importantly unsustainable. Don't you think it looks funny how US is sending 1billion to Saakashvili and borrowing it from chinese while US banking system is under sever stress?

  5. I repeat for those who are Past Insanity, Obama said he would go into Pakistan to get Bin Laden if we knew where he was and if Pakistan was unable to do the job.

Do you understand what a conditional statement is?

Are you serious? I watched a few minutes of the summary on CBS afterward and Bob Schieffer said no one really delivered a knockout punch, and both did well. That's how I saw it too, but I think Obama was the "winner", if you can call it that.

  8. Hell No

The FAA would no longer allow Mccain to fly planes do to his age,(although with 2 crashes, hitting power lines and being shot down he should no longer be flying)there needs to be somebody to stop this senile old mad man from running for president

  10. Jon this is why I don't respect your opinions. We are ALREADY bombing inside Pakistan and Pakistan has ALREADY retaliated. Christ if you don't know what's going on then just don't comment. You come like a dumb snot nosed kid.
