Opening Range Breakout. I'd be curious to see if anyone has an automated version of the ACD method. There is a really good thread here but I haven't checked it in awhile, may find something there in regards to coding it.
This definitation is very simplified version of what actually are the conditions for ORB as defined be Tony Crable in his book. The real system is actually quite a few more conditions
Straight ORB just takes the breakout in either direction. Crabel added a bias to the ORB using bar patterns. So if the price pattern predicted an up move to be more likely he only took upside breakouts.
