Hi, does anyone use ProRealTime.com for futures? Any thoughts about it as a platform for developing/backtesting some simple technical strategies and developing a trading system? I have traded commodity futures before but only from a fundamental perspective and want to start getting involved in developing a technical strading system - since I have no experience I am not so willing to pay up thousands of dollars for software before I have "proof of concept" that I'll really be able to develop something that is profitable. I will look at commodity, currency and finacial futures. End-of-day data should be fine for now at least a I'm more of a swing/position trader. For that, it looks like the price can't be beat but I'm curious if anyone has anythoughts on how good a platform it is. Any other recommendations? Thanks.
