does anyone use ticks or trin to confirm these trades? I use them for daytrading and find no-pms methods very interesting. If you plot a 2 min chart of the tick and the trin it might help filtering or at least exiting trades when in a trend day. You could use a divergence in the tick index to confirm your entry and if the trin is trending against your trade you could use the tick extreme to exit a profitable position before it goes against you. Plot a bollinger band on the tick index and use penetrations of the band as extremes.
Après avoir lu tous les post concernant cette méthode, je l'ai appliqué sur le DAX. Celà marche aussi plutôt bien, avec des résultats supérieurs que sur ES. Quelques exemples: After having read all the post concerning this method, I applied it to the DAX. It work rather well, with results higher than on ES. Living in France, celà is easy for the hours of trading Some examples: 02/13/06
Are you taking ALL the divergence trades or only the ones that "work"? I see plenty on the charts you don't mark. My guess is you go back and mark the trades afterwards like good little "papertraders"- try doing it in real time with real orders and stops. Then come back to me and I'll give you a crying towel. The very fact that Steve46 incorporated it into his trading is proof it doesn't work. The name Steve means king and he certainly is THE king of the papertraders.
Hey Walther; I see you found a new alias. Only a matter of time before the mod comes around with his vacumn cleaner I will just say goodbye to you now. bye...
