For those wishing to use MAs, try this exponential moving average. alpha*(price+bestgain*(price-EMA[1]))+(1-alpha)*EMA[1] where alpha = 0.25 and bestgain = 0.5 Next, start playing around with different alphas and gain factors. Best of luck. btw, EMAs are just infinite impulse response (IIR) lowpass filters.
LOL,21 ema?? I use a 20 SMA, not as front run/faster run , 'cause its a 20 simple ma. One of my chart services use a 13 period moving average on volume, as a default;works for me, but i prefer 50 on volume, like investors.com uses as a default......,..,. PS; I fed peanuts to an elephant@ the ZOO/LOL/TRUE, as a kid. His trunk was in a trading range. I dont remember if they were salted peanuts, or plain peanuts?? But that is why a SPY-buy + hold ;;almost always beats trading- +dividends 2. A ma , any ma will chop slop, in a trading range[aka barbed wire range an elitetrader nicknamed it.]Like Robert M noted;dollar cost average, like he told his daughter.,,
I was told to use ema instead of sma because with the former one sees trouble coming in the nick of time
So Lisa-World-Travel what are your favorite surfing spots? Kind of hard to know when you some dude posing as a women - your not fooling anyone.
Hawaii still ranks #1 for women, men, men posing as women and women posing as men. "your not fooling anyone" .... pls change that to "you're" ...... so nobody mistakes you for a blond.
%% I had a bank repo, when younger=then the bank sued me for the balance. I never told my banker dad- he would have frowned on that...…..LOL funny now , a real tear jerker then.
