    Seriously man? Themickey is right...

You didn't answer the question. How are you planning to trade PA? Mickey did not say anything to warrant a bee-line to your ignore list.

Well, if there is a lot of info out there on palladium mining stocks, then use that information to trade the PA futures, and stop asking questions here about what other PA future traders might be doing, because YOU SEEM TO ALREADY HAVE ALL THE INFO YOU NEED.

What patterns are PA traders looking for? Since supply and demand rule palladium, I can't imagine what TA patterns could help you. PA is thin and wholly dependent on the physical. It is no ES. A brief glance at the latest PA charts show that the thing has blown it's load over the past year, and is ripe for a pullback now.

But then again, you'd have to square that with your "info that is out there."

Thanks for participating, and do not ignore people here who may be providing you with salad advice. Don't knee-jerk to the ignore list.

Take it from me...Lots of people hate me, but I have none of them on ignore. Because people spout bits of wisdom. The fact that I like or do not like them does not change their wisdom. Thus, there is no point in my ignoring them. You dig? Man?

You might want to relax before you burst a vein or something. I started this thread for simple information like "i'm in the trade and I noticed the price action reacts very nicely on the prior day's close most of the time, or whipsaws a lot during open" stuff like that. You dig? Anyways I dont have to explain myself. Its a speculation game. I might know someone directly in catalytic converter business who knows more than I do about supply. In case you didnt notice an higher high was reached friday. Just another opinion. You can call it wisdom if you want. I ignore whoever I want whenever I want. That's what the function is for.

  4. Regarding supply, are you talking about the liquidity supply by speculators or are you talking about supply and demand?

Regarding the higher high, I think you're talking about the systematic variation in market inefficiency across currencies and commodities caused by speculators. That was just a temporary liquidity move driven by speculators. I still believe the overall financial markets are bearish and we may see another bearish move next week. Anyway, I don't want to get into too much beginner's stuff. Good luck if you are planning an early buy.

Man, you need to calm down a bit. You remind me of brokers who wanted to compete with me a few weeks ago at investing.com. They kept making buy calls and saw prices 300 pips down in that week.

Palladium and Platinum both have some very nice trends on the daily chart over time. IMO, they're two of the best trending asset classes.

You are overall bearish on markets. Got it. Also maybe holding shorts? Beginner's stuff. Right. Good luck. I prefer to let price action take me where it needs to go even if markets are due for a pullback. Its quite a good thing traders can get in and out anytime and ride any time frame trend.

Look at PA volume - only 5k contracts traded traded per day.
silver futures - about 70K per day,
gold futures - about 200k per day.

I don't like trading illiquid futures.
anyway if you do swing / position trading, it might not be that bad

True. I will give it a try when it opens and tests short term support. This thing keeps shooting up and sentiment is so bullish that I cant resist. I'll post feedback.
