I've seen IB offers capability to trade options in Europe. Has anyone tried doing so? Can I sell-write options as I do in the US option market? Are there any other brokers to consider? (I have 2 active accounts and the minimum deposit of 10k that IB requires is too high) Thanks
I am with IB for three years now, no problems. Low commissions, efficient funds transfers, (to and from) and I can trade the AEX options. That was not possible with ThinkorSwim. (Is that still the case ?)
Thanks for the replies. I am with TOS and I am very Pleased with them but they don't offer international options trading at all. I started reading IB's commission schedule but got lost on the data fee section. Let's say I want to trade options in France (love the low commissions IB are asking for that) how much will I end up paying for data and account maintenance?
one of the things you have to look at is how active you are going to be: and then chose bundled of unbundled; that might really save you a lot of money. Can't help you on the details anymore cause I moved over to trading fx with Oanda, but if I was doing options trading I would most likely move back to IB again.
