Could not figure out who in the world it could be as I looked on
    caller ID before I answered.

  5. I was just about to open an account with PD but I went with IB because I trade options alot and PD had no options on line. I cant believe what I am reading, I almost shit when I read the posts. What the hell are they thinking!! We are in a time when every trader is valuable and bad news spreads faster than the west nile virus. If they didn't notify all of you before they unplugged you I would close my account the second I could get my hands on my cash. I am really pissed off about this and I don't even trade with them. I wish all of you luck and I hope every thing works out. Nas

  6. Not to be picky but it took 3 years for the West Nile to get west of the Mississippi. I'm thinking that Ebola would have been a better virus to use in your analogy.

Man am I whacked to be up at 12:00 pm typing this post? Just played a hockey game and wired I guess.

If one checks past posts about PD, they'd find that I had an odd experience trying to open and fund the account. Seems they tried very hard to get as much cash out of me as possible. This sent up a red flag, and I decided to stay with my current broker.
I too am upset for all of those burnt by this poor customer service. Very unprofessional.
I'd second the motion to close an account when you're able to.
Good luck to all of you.

PD got evicted from their beautiful 28th (big), then 13th (bigger) finally 14th floor office (tiny), and I heard they are getting sued by Equity Office, the management company for SunTrust, their former leaseholder for non-payment. SEVERE cash flow problems is what I'm hearing, along with the remote offices are pretty much a sham too. LA is one or two guys but no real hardware and for cosmetic purposes only.

If you haven't opened an account yet, I'd reccomend waiting a couple of weeks to see if NASDAQ approves their line moves and make sure they have the technical know how to actually pull off the switch.

My view, they won't make it too long in the back of their Dad's tee shirt shop.

If you already have an account... good luck; in my opinion, you can probably kiss your cash goodbye...

I've experienced these arrogant mis-managing dim wits first hand, and thank God I got out before it was too late. Had I been foolish enough to have paid up front, I wouldn't trust these Pakastani tee-shirt shiesters to serve me a slushy!

I'm assuming Josh means 'moron', and I would suggest before calling people names you look up how to spell the word, genius. :D

For the record, no I don't have a problem with middle eastern people, per se, but I do have a problem with people who misrepresent the truth. For PD to state that the have decided to move to 'A LARGER AND SIGNIFICANTLY ENHANCED DATA FACILITIES' is not quite accurate. They in fact got kicked out of their office and was forced to move into the back of their dad's tee shirt shop, combined with 'NETWORKS MAY BE DOWN FOR MAINTENANCE AND ENHANCEMENTS' which is in reality their inability to get to lines because the locks have been changed on their server room, as I understand it.

In short, my personaly opinion is that this company is struggling with some major issues and will probably not be in business for much longer, and they are misleading investors about their real situation.

I wouldn't trust these people to trade my kids baseball cards.
