  1. well i dont drink coffee or soda and i dont take any medical drugs. next question.
i think people like you are just emotionally weak. you know the stuff you are taking is bad for you. and yes i include drinkers and smokers in that. but you dont have the willpower to resist it.

  2. first of all, I dont' "take" it, I smoke it

Second of all, you have yet to explain how it is bad for me

Third of all, why should I have the willpower to resist something that helps me? Just because you don't like it? All joking aside, I am not advocating you get high. Why are you writing laws to prevent me from getting high? Don't you think it's a little unfair to hold your mental stability as the standard for the world? Couldn't we lower the bar so it says something like as long as I am not creating a public disturbance and am not a burden to society that I should be free to my own path to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness?

  4. first of all smoking is just a way to deliver drugs to your system through your lungs. you are "taking it" just as someone who injests or injects a drug.
second. if you interact with the public either by driving flying or whatever mind impaired you are affecting the rest of us. we dont want to clean up after you.

then there is this. new study just out. smoking pot makes you an idiot. dont we have enough idiots in this world:

Teen Pot Users Risk Long-Term IQ Drop, Study Says
NEW YORK — Teens who routinely smoke marijuana risk a long-term drop in their IQ, a new study suggests.

The researchers didn't find the same IQ dip for people who became frequent users of pot after 18. Although experts said the new findings are not definitive, they do fit in with earlier signs that the drug is especially harmful to the developing brain.

  8. Other than the "crime" of being high in public, anything anyone who was high could do that would instigate a criminal proceeding against them, e.g. trespassing, larceny, whatever, is already illegal.

So, if you are high in public and not doing any of those things, where's the crime?

The kind of people who commit those crimes are going to commit them regardless of whether they are high.

  9. LOL. holy crap. thats "LOGIC". you need a new name.

    #69     Aug 28, 2012
  10. Yeah, that's a purely rhetorical reply, so unless you're keeping your ability to actually reply logically a secret, I'm not going to take any advice about logic from you.

You do know the difference between a rhetorical reply and a substantive one, correct?

Here's a hint: a substantive reply doesn't sound like a teenage girl wrote it. Unless you are a teenage girl, in which case your reply is about what I'd expect. Are you a teenage girl or do you just write like one?
