  1. Correct; and Cruz, et al on the right sent another Bill to the Senate asking, again, for an exemption from Obamacare as a condition of funding the govt.

Republican congressman Nunez , CA. was on CNN for 30 minutes.
The panel could barely contain themselves with glee as he singled out the 18
conspirators (his words) in his party without an end game.
If feel as if i am watching the self immolation of the republican party.
My take-away is a longer shutdown.

There is no way Fox would have put him on....Airing out dirty laundry with the left.
What a liitle bitch he is regardless of your political persuasion.

Maybe the medical device tax becomes the grand bargain.:)

  5. Non-essential is a misnomer. A better term might be bare bones minimum to keep the country and government from collapsing, and bare bones should in no way should be considered optimal. Go visit a military person and ask if the civilian employees laid off are non essential, I think you'll find they are indeed needed and missed. I'm working in a small air base town right now and many of my customers are Air Force and have said what a mess things are now because of the laid off workers. Many of these workers are retired military with years of experience and the Air Force hires these retired workers because it's cheaper than expanding the military and these experienced and skilled people do a job that isn't getting done while they are gone. Non essential is indeed a misnomer.
