Trust me, all of US have greedy families. Like I said, I hope one day you have money and your whole family knows. When my sister wanted $32,000 and she admitted that she could never pay me back, she said "she wishes she could be so LUCKY to GIVE me $32,000." What a F'n croc. I told her money was NOT her problem. Excessive use of her credit cards, blowing money on vacations (she goes on weekend getaways with her loser husband all the time), cars, clothes, etc... was the F'n problem. If I paid off her credit cards she would have a Large balance in one year and calling me again. She refused to cut up her credit cards, she had 10 of them. Her husband is a lazy alcoholic also, F him.
I like an English accent & a pretty face but as an info source the segment was a dud VS today's feature on the 21yearold who thinks oil is going to $80 --> what do you guys think the impact of that wouldm be on various markets?
Mahram, maybe you are missing the point here. F-Trader is essentially telling you that his family thinks of him as a new credit card with no payments due. So Mahram, do your family members ask you for money to go out and buy a television, a new car, some money for a vacation? Lets differentiate between actual NEEDS and frivolity. F-Trader has tried to make this point 10x now and you just dont seem to get it.
sorry ftrader, I just went back and reread your posts, I thought it was needs payments. Like medical bills and basic nessicity type stuff. But if its for vacations and new cars, then I would be angry. I was going along the lines, of if dental bills or the basic nessity bills that rack up.
ohh ok I thought it was basic nessicity type stuff like medical bills or dental bills. Then Im sure you wouldnt hessitate. But if its along the lines for new cars, tvs. then sure you would have the right tobe angry.
lol and ftrader you have to admit, maybe alittle bit of the reason why your sister yelled at you, its because you are jerk. I reread your post, and you insulted me. So lets be alittle honest, yeah your sister is a jerk, but your have to be alittle bit of bastard for your sister to react to you like she has right
Of course it's crap. CNBC is the biggest joke going. The only thing more pathetic than CNBC is the group of people who think that watching it will make them a better trader. To quote you, this sounds like the day of the "MMs and floor traders cant trade/daytrade their own account to save their lives."
I would listen to this man. Believe me. That is how it works. Not in all cases. But 8 out of 10. If you are giving out a loan to family. They consider it giving. Believe that. If you are going to give your family money and help folks etc. That is great. Especially, if they helped you. That is what family is for. But I give it. Calling it a loan has never worked for me! BUT do not expect it to change anything. Like when you pay off your kid sisters credit card debt and she just lights those babies up again and ends up in more debt next time. I know large wealthy traders that not many people know of. What happens generally is that their brokerage and clearing firms talk and word spreads. But if you have the biggest house in the neighborhood and drive a Ferrari---well they will figure it out. That is the trend now a days ---living big. I still remember in the Cbot back some years ago. You would see older grain traders who drove regular old cars and they looked like a typical middle class guy (or even lower middle class). Nothing rich about em. I still remember one of them coming over behind the prop desk and talking to the brokerage desk. He was eating his lunch and was off the grain floor. He used the main brokerage phone and put in one of the most disgustingly large orders I had ever heard. Me and a couple other lackies that were new on the trading desk almost puked. Prior to hearing that, I would have bet money that he could not afford a 10 lot. I was young and naive. But grain traders are old school when it comes to dough. I think that may be a general trend in all fields these days. More flash with your cash.
well if they had cuter woman, I think i would watch cnbc more, how about bringing melissa thereuax over
