Hi I am trying to clean up a PC and wondered if anyone was using PC Optimizer and what their thoughts on the subject of clean ups might be thanks

Just be careful with eraser or CC because if you delete some important files (system files) you'll be up a creek without a paddle.
Simpler solution exists, try "msconfig" from the Start>Run Jump to "Startup" tab and then get rid of all junk that auto-starts. Except for stuff that where command is residing in "c:\windows\system32\.." and "rundll32.exe.."
