I'm old school. Still run 1024 x 768 on my dell 24's. The higher resolution makes it harder for my old eyes to read.
If desired, you can run at native (1920x1200) and make fonts, icons, text, etc (all but toolbar text) to be any size you want.
I might play around with it again, but I like everything huge. With 1024 x 768 I already run text on medium now and window fonts are extra large. I sit about 3 feet away from the monitors.
Same here. I don't go over 1280 x 1024 on my widescreen monitors and stay at 1152 x 854 for my regular profile flat panel monitors.
For those with the giant monitor setups, is there a way to speed up the mouse above what Windows allows in the "Mouse Properties"? I'm going to be running on a TV and a couple monitors here pretty soon, and it seems like the mouse isn't going to be moving across the screen fast enough even on the fastest settings.
Mouse does just great here on 42" 1920x1080 extended two (of them) wide. Zing right around at max speed and I can go anywhere I want in one swoop. I'm spoiled by big screens. Once you go big you never go back.
1. Do you have the mouse maker's driver installed? 2. Some mice are "performance" (gaming)... perhaps try one of those... like a Logitech mx518 or G5... many others.
2 1920x1200 screens here. One is 15.4". The other is 24". Looking to add a 3rd. How many trading platforms even work properly on 'just' 1024x768 anymore?
Wow not just a 15 incher...but 15.4 inches, did you get that in the garbage room or street? Just breaking balls, as long as you earn a living trading is all dat matterwsxb....& yes I am drunk currently. Anybody have any good Asian outcall numbers?
