Anyone else part of any other legal group other than CCC seeking to return money to customers? I have two other lawyers and to be honest they are not making much headway... The arguments etc are usually futile and cost a tremendous amount of money. A collaboration would be more efficient and shared costs would go a lot further. I am quite concerned with the recent objection made by JP Morgan to block the third bulk distribution to customers. I am seeking collaboration with any other groups to help argue this. Shoot me a pm
hi guys, on a different topic- do you know where to get a FILLABLE pdf claim form from? looks like the trustee site still does not have it or am i overlooking it? i tried to call their call center but they are of no help.....
For what it's worth, I'm a member at CCC, don't know how well they can stand up to JP Morgan's million dollar lawyers but at least there's someone there to voice our opinion.
I printed out the claim form, filled it in by hand and scanned it. I think scanning is the only option as you may well need to provide extra information in the form of signed statements. Plus, you need to sign the claim form itself.
JPM's objection is total legal nonsense. JPM are *creditors* of MFGI and therefore have no assets being held there. Customers are attempting to recover their own assets.
The claim form is actually fillable, as I have done it. Try again and you'll see. You still need to print it out though as it requires a signature on the last page. I was debating whether to scan it and e-mail it in to the trustee, but have to decided to overnight snail mail it. Just curious, can anyone explain one question on the form for me: In Section IV of the claim forms â Details Of Your Claim: In Part A., Why does it say in the first line, âDoes MF Global Inc. have any claims against youâ¦â Why would they have claims against me? I thought the claim form was because we had claims against MFG? Am I reading it wrong, or just confused about the question? I checked off No to that part. Good luck everyone. Hope we get 100% sooner rather than very later.
It's very unlikely that MFG would have extended credit to any customer which still needs to be returned. However, the trustee is just trying to be careful by crossing every t and dotting every i.
Hi Everyone, I was on vacation over the past 10 days. What's the latest on MF global missing funds? Thanks, redduke
Thanks. Loved that line: "The CFTC had shelved the rule earlier this year amid opposition from executives, including MFâs now-disgraced CEO, Corzine." Mind boggling, what these guys get away with. What could be simpler than a rule, that customer funds can not be used for any speculations under any circumstances.
