ETHW is a native token of a public chain, not an ERC20 token, hence NO contract address. Q: Which wallet? Any wallet that supports custom RPC, eg. Metamask, Bitkeep, Tokenpocket, etc. Here is how to set up a custom RPC — Q: What’s the supply of ETHW? Same as ETH. ETHW Airdrop Q: How to claim ETHW airdrop A simple tutorial here — Q: How did the airdrop work? It is actually not an airdrop. With the ETHW hard fork, any address that had ETH on the Ethereum mainnet before the snapshot will have the equivalent number of ETHW on the EthereumPoW mainnet. Remember in the old DeFi Summer, you can simply switch to a new network by adding its RPC info? Same here, your ETHW will show up once you add ETHW mainnet RPC to your wallet, as long as your wallet has ETH at the time of the snapshot. Q: When snapshot? When airdrop? When fork? When mainnet? When pool? When mining? Snapshot at the Merge block height 15537393, already done. Mainnet launched already — Airdrop completed already. Mining on ETHW mainnet has started. ETHW Mainnet Q: Where to trade mainnet ETHW tokens? All major exchanges have listed ETHW, you can see the list on CoinMarketCap or CoinGecko. DEXes are also available on ETHW mainnet. Already launched the first testnet — A mining pool for testnet — https://medium.com/@ETHW/ethwmine-pool-supporting-ethw-iceberg-testnet-82a559f54e4c Q: Buy or sell testnet tokens? WARNING: ETHW testnet tokens have 0 value, there will never be any mapping from testnet tokens to mainnet tokens. Do not buy from anyone who claims there is monetary value with testnet tokens, block the seller! ETHW Mining Q: How about mining algorithm, block size, dag size, EIP-1559, difficulty bomb? Trying to make minimum changes to keep the PoW-based Ethereum, with chain sustainability in mind, thus most will be kept the same. So far, the difficulty bomb is disabled and the EIP-1559 base fee will be distributed to miners. The Core plans to support 4G DAG size later. There is no plan to make the mining algorithm to be ASIC-resistant. Again please always refer to the official channels for announcements of any changes. Q: Mining pools? I'm short Eth perp futures 20x leverage. That was a roller coaster ride this morning... I stopped trading in and out of short position, I'm better at just sitting on a position. I think Eth can go to 3 digits It helps that I have ETHW and defi yield farming there to distract me from the volatility up and down of Eth
I've been buying more ETHW about an hour ago at mid $5 level NFA [want to buy a lot more at below $2]
Covered the short Eth perp futures 20x at 127x/Eth It was a very violent ride up and down the past few days and especially the hour or so after the FOMC rate hike decision but the risk reward being short Eth (or even being long Eth) is not very enticing at this level Btc will probably go back up above $20K again and drag Eth up with it NFA
ETHW is doing well compared to overall market conditions I wanted to buy more at lower prices, but it's not looking like ETHW wants to go lower than $5
During the bull market this is nothing... but during this crypto winter, something like this keeps us going for the next bull market cycle, imho
NFA ETHW had a nice pullback to just below $9 last night. Planning to add to my bag if it hits $7 or lower
